Introduction to Golf

Golf is like any other sport that you play. Anything you can think of can be a metaphor for golf. Just like anything, there are principles for golf.

When it comes to playing golf, the most crucial part is putting the club face at just right position to hit the ball. It’s the technique to put the club face correctly–your hand position and swing.

In order to execute a good swing, you need to follow certain fundamentals.

Just remember 3 things: posture, grip, and alignment.

Aside from this, you need to know the right equipment. The right materials will always give you all the support you need in getting the ball in the hole. Of course this is the expensive part of playing the game. You could always just ask a favor from your rich relative and borrow his or her golf equipment.

You need to carry at least 14 clubs in your golf bag. However, that’s not necessary for ultimate beginners. You can start with a driver. No not an Uber driver. A driver, like a golf club.

You can also start with a sand wedge, a 6-iron, an 8-iron, and a pitching wedge.

Next up is choosing the right ball. This usually costs 20 dollars per 12 pieces.

The next thing you have to do is ask yourself some existential questions. Why do you want to play golf? Is it for fun or for some serious competition. This will determine how much time and effort you will put in the game.

The video below will give you instructions on all you need to know about how to get that perfect swing.
